Not Only White is a Dutch design brand with distinctive and flexible bathroom solutions for residential and commercial projects. Their products are brought back to the basics, yet always with a touch of warmth and elegance.
Not Only White was founded in 2010 by designer Marike Andeweg in Amsterdam.
Working for Not Only White, Justin took care of numerous tasks.
Next to technical drawings, client contact, order processing and quotations, Justin worked closely with Marike to develop a new washbasin that was missing in the collection: an oval one.
Carefully chosen proportions ensure the spacious and functional character of the Mono basin. The organic shape creates a beautiful gradient inside the bowl, while also forming an interesting contrast with the sharp outer lines.
The project started with a simple sketch, followed by multiple sketches and 3D models, in search of the right proportions. Working for Not Only White gave Justin a lot of insight in what dimensions work well for most people. He was able to use this knowledge to determine the dimensions, forming an aesthetically pleasing yet functional bowl. Justin worked closely with the manufacturer, ensuring the bowl could be produced in the best way possible.
